Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin."

Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha).



Before Jesus was hung on the cross, He suffered a lot of pain, scourging, and insults.
Then, Jesus was nailed to the cross used by the Roman Empire to execute criminals, and Jesus died on the cross of suffering.
Even before his death, he entrusted his mother to his beloved disciple.

We thank our Heavenly Father for the love and grace of Jesus who rescues everyone from their sins and death.

First, Pilate whipped Jesus.
(Verse 1)
But Pilate said that Jesus had no sin. (John 18:38, John 19:4,6)
The chief priests and the Jews said that he should be put to death because according to their law they said that Jesus was the Son of God.
(Verse 7)
However, as Jesus said, those who received the word of God are called gods, and Jesus is the Son of God sent by God.
(John 10:34-38)
God also calls Jesus the Son of God.
(Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5, Mark 1:11, Mark 9:7, Luke 3:22, Luke 9:35, etc.)
In the end, the high priests and Jews who wanted to kill Jesus were people who rebelled against God and followed the lusts of their father the devil.
(John 8:44-47)
And the fact that Jesus was crucified and died was not under the authority of Pilate, but under the authority of God. (John 19:10-11)
Under the authority of God, sinless Jesus died on the cross for the sins of all people that no one could solve because of their own sins.
(John 19:17)
It is the blood of the covenant that God promised to take away our sins.
(Mark 14:24)
We thank God for the love that God loved us in that Christ died for us even though we are all sinners (Romans 5:8).
Thank you for the grace that completely solved our sins.
(Hebrews 10:17)
Now, to those who believe in Jesus, He does not perish in their own sins but saves them.
(John 3:16)
Thank you for the grace of Jesus and the love of God who died on the cross for our sins.
And other people will also believe in Jesus and be saved through the love of God,
