I hope and pray that I will follow Jesus and that a follower of Jesus will be born through me.

When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God!

When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus.

Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, "What do you want?" They said, "Rabbi" (which means Teacher), "where are you staying?"

"Come," he replied, "and you will see." So they went and saw where he was staying, and spent that day with him. It was about the tenth hour.

 When John the Baptist saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Behold, the Lamb of God." 
At that time, there were two disciples of John the Baptist with him. They were Andrew and John the author of the Gospel of John. Upon hearing the words of John the Baptist testifying of Jesus, the two disciples of John the Baptist followed Jesus. 
Humanly, it may have been sad, but they decided to abandon their teacher, John the Baptist, and follow Jesus, the one the teacher is witnessing. John the Baptist is not the Christ himself (v. 20), but the Lamb of God that Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit and takes away the sins of the world, as God said to baptize with water with the voice of a crying in the wilderness, He testified that he is the Son of God. (Verses 31-34) 
To John and Andrew, who decided to follow Jesus, Jesus said, "What are you looking for?" and "Come and see." John the Baptist testified that Jesus is the Christ, and the two disciples who were beside them heard the testimony and decided to follow Jesus and followed Jesus. 
Jesus called them disciples. And through Andrew, Peter followed Jesus. James may have also been influenced as the brother of the apostle John. 
When Jesus called Philip and Philip followed Jesus, there were Andrew and Peter from the same neighborhood, and Philip brought Nathanael to Jesus. 
Everyone met Jesus as a person who waits for Christ, knowing that he is the Messiah, and followed Jesus. 
Seeing John, Andrew, and Peter, James, Philip, and Nathanael, we must first become followers of Jesus. 
And we hope that a follower of Jesus will be created. 
How did you first come to follow Jesus? 
And after that, are you getting to know Jesus by praying to God's Word and to the Lord and having fellowship with the Lord? 
It is good to strive to get to know the Lord. And they hope that there will be one person who will follow Jesus, and they will want to lead one person to Jesus.
