Jesus set an example for us to do just as Jesus did

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.

I tell you the truth, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me."


Jesus came from God, knowing that he came when he returned to God, and Jesus loved his disciples to the end.
And he did the work of washing the feet, which is the work of slavery as a master or teacher.
Jesus set an example so that His disciples could do just as He did.
He humbled himself as a servant as Jesus sent Son of God.
When he washed his disciples' feet in the form of a servant-like man, the disciples were cleansed.
And even in the absence of sin
He cleansed and saved all people from sin and death by dying on the cross like a sinner.
We thank you for the grace and love of the Lord who showed God's love and served us and gave us the grace of life and salvation from sin and death.
Just as Jesus, who served and worked as a servant as Lord, wants,
I pray that by acting in the attitude of serving as the servant of the Lord and by acting in the name of Jesus, others will be cleansed from their sins and death through faith in God's Word and Jesus.
Just as God sent Jesus to preach the word of eternal life and the love of salvation that God gave us, we know that Jesus sent us and preach the Gospel and Jesus.
I hope that those who believe in Jesus and those who follow Jesus will arise.
